Cheryl Padilla-Maldonado
My name is Cheryl Padilla Maldonado, the students will know me as Ms. Cheryl. I am SO excited to be the new art teacher at Mission Avenue! I am born and raised in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho. I cannot wait to share my love of art with the students! I have been creating art my entire life with my mother and grandmother. I love all media and dabble in all sorts of art projects. I started teaching 4 years ago and have taught 2ndand 3rdgrade. I was privileged to have joined the Fine Arts department last January and taught Visual Arts at Griegos Elementary. I am so happy to have reached this goal of becoming an art teacher and even more happy that I get to do it at this awesome school! Thank you for welcoming me and look forward to getting to know all students and families in the Mission Avenue community.
