Welcome back to school! I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year and I can't wait to get to know each of you!
I was born and raised in Albuquerque and have lived here all my life. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Mexico in Modern Languages. After college, I worked at PNM (Electric and Gas Company) for five years. Then I went back to UNM and received my teacher's license in K-8. I have been teaching at Mission Avenue for 20 years. I have a TESOL license and and am fluent in Spanish. I have taught all elementary grade levels but most recently have been teaching first grade and kindergarten. I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year!
