Welcome to the Library

Welcome to the Mission Avenue Library.  My name is Renée Ochoa, and I am your school librarian.  I look forward to meeting all of you.  I will be here every other week.  Parents and guardians are welcome to come in and check out books.  Students will continue to attend library classes every other week where they will check out self-selected materials and participate in lessons that support the Common Core State Standards and the National School Library Standards.  Most importantly, lessons will be geared towards fostering a love of learning, reading, and libraries.
